Do I have to be vegetarian to practice Buddhism or Yoga?
You don’t have to be vegetarian to practice yoga or meditation or Buddhism, however, having said that vegetarian food does help.
Our body is made up of the food which we eat in our day to day life and this food also affects our thought process.
However, you don’t have to force yourself eating vegetarian food if you have been brought up eating non-veg food. Once you start practicing meditation regularly, gradually a stage will come when you would yourself feel that eating vegetarian food is helping you and then it would be easy for you to switch.
