Common causes of hair loss and tips
Stress:
Stress is the number reason for your hair loss. Stress could be emotional or physical or both and it must be controlled.
Any kind of physical trauma or a severe illness can cause hair loss. Similarly, emotional stress can also cause hair loss such as in the case of separation of your loved one or after the death of a loved one, or while caring for an aging parent.
Hypothyroidism
Hypothyroidism means an underactive thyroid gland. This gland located in your neck produces hormones that are critical to metabolism as well as growth and development and when it’s not releasing enough hormones, it can contribute to hair loss.
Solution: Yogic breathing exercise such as Alternate nostril breathing and Hatha Yoga exercise is great for maintaining balance at the hormonal level.
Lack of protein
Diet deficient in protein can lead to hair loss. Your body may shut down hair growth because of protein deficiency.
Solution: Great sources of the protein includes eggs and lentils.
Anemia
Anemia due to an iron deficiency can leads to hair loss although this can be easily sorted by taking food which is rich in iron.
Vitamin B deficiency
Low levels of vitamin B is another common cause of hair loss.
What to do: Like anemia, simple diet changes can correct this.Natural vitamin B is found in starchy vegetables and non-citrus fruits. As always, eating a balanced diet plentiful in fruits and vegetables, avocado and nuts will also be good for the hair.
